Growers in the Loire Valley are some of the most eco-friendly on earth. They produce their wines in the traditional manner of their ancestors.

French vineyards are not irrigated. The vines have to rely on natural rain water. As a result, the roots of the vines grow far down into the earth as they get older – sometimes more than 20 metres deep.

The wines are made up entirely from the natural juice of the grapes, with no additional water.
