The Arbois (pronounced ah-bwah) grape can make the most thrilling dry, white wine. It is cousin to the Chenin grape so can be laid down for many, many years. This 2006 harvest was absolutely stunning! It is smooth, fruity, soft and very, very long on the palate. It is a dream with gourmet fish dishes also with chicken in a cream sauce. Step out and try this stunning wine. Drink it now or lay down for up to 10 years.

The wines are dry and fruity and wonderfully  blended from the sauvignon blanc (80%) and chardonnay (20%) grapes. This is the best white Cheverny wine I have tasted in a long while. It is light and smooth with slightly flinty overtones on the back of the tongue. It will go with all fish dishes, roast chicken and pasta dishes and of course goats cheese. Wow your friends with a wine that is slightly different from the norm. They will love it and so will you!

La Cuvée Lucile is a subtle blend of Chenin & Chardonnay grapes. It is very full, rich and supple, with notes of spring flowers and honey. This wine is lovely as an aperitif and with gourmet fish dishes. Serve well chilled.

Muscadet wine growers have all worked so hard to recreate the famous wines which they inherited from the Romans who first planted vines in the area. The wines are powerful, dry and fresh white wines, and really quite amazing!

Bruno Cormerais has raised his "cuvée vieilles vignes" from 40 years old vines planted on the now-famous granite de clisson slopes. It is a powerful wine with loads of fruit. Just imagine a large platter of freshly cooked whitebait; or smoked herrings and sprats. Yumm! With this wine it will be really outstanding.

This fabulous unoaked Chardonnay wine is the most outstanding the Domaine has made since their stunning chardonnay harvest in 2006. It is beautifully dry, full and flinty. It fills the mouth with fruit. It is amazingly moreish! It is light and lemony when young and takes on a honey, walnutty flavour as it ages. An easy sipping wine as well as accompanying most chicken, light meats and pasta dishes.

Of all the Loire wine regions, Sancerre is probably the most famous. 100% Sauvignon blanc, this gourmet white is a real treat! Raised on the terroir of Bué, when you taste it you will suddenly remember the day when you first discovered Sancerre and fell in love with it. Leave it to breathe for about 20 minutes after opening. Then just let the different flavours fill your mouth. You will discover what Sancerre should really taste like. Bone dry, a hint of flint and full of fruit. This outstanding wine will accompany goats cheese, gourmet chicken dishes or even slightly spicy dishes. Go on - spoil yourself!

It's an amazing, stunning, outstanding sweet, white wine! This is the sweet version of the Arbois la Pieuse 2006 wine. When Jean-Marc brought in  the harvest he split the tank and made half dry and half sweet. It is sweet but not sticky on the palate. Its sweetness comes from the natural fructose in the wine. Nothing more, nothing less. It is just the way the vines made it. It is a dream as an aperitif with-a-difference. Excels itself with desserts such as apple (or any other fruit) pie.

Super bouquet of raspberries and blackcurrants, this cabernet has loads of fruit supported by elegant, well-structured tannins, this is a must-have with all lamb dishes. A very versatile wine which will go with loads of dishes especially the Sunday roast. If you are in doubt as to which type of red wine to serve, this cabernet will probably be the ticket!

This exquisite blend of 3 red varietals, gamay, cabernet & côt, 2004 has become a really outstanding wine. Jean-Marc made this wine in the old fashioned way. This means that he macerated the grapes for nearly one month with their skins! The tannins are now elegantly structured and will get softer. There are bags of black summer fruit that come from behind and support the wine all around the palate. Blackcurrants and plums fill the mouth and demand a good roast beef Sunday lunch or Christmas dinner.

It will keep for at least 10 years. You can consume now if you prefer.

The Côt or Malbec grape is the strongest in flavour of our single grape varieties. It is redolent of morello cherries and sometimes horse leather. A nicely chewy wine which will accompany red meat, game and goats cheese. Drink now or keep for up to 7 years.

This wonderful soft, light, fruity Sancerre red from the Domaine La Gemière is redolent of strawberries and raspberries in a fruit cup. 100% pinot noir, this 2004 will happily accompany light meat dishes such as pork chops and chicken as well as pasta dishes. Try it with tagliatelli with a pesto sauce. Just yummy!

The gamay grape is the lightest in flavour of all our single variety grapes, redolent of strawberries and pepper. Crémant de Loire is an appellation in it's own right. Made in the traditional Champagne methode from their own wines blended chenin and chardonnay grapes. This is a dry, very fruity, very exciting  light, white sparkling wine. Gorgeous at all occasions, festive or not!

This divine Méthode Traditionnelle is raised in the Champagne method from our own Touraine wine made from the arbois grape variety. It makes the most delectable white sparkling wine. The Pineau d'Aunis grape is only grown in our region of the Loire Valley and is probably the oldest known varietal in the region. It is dry, soft, fruity, slightly peppery, easy to drink and well balanced. It is like a glass of strawberries and cream except it is dry! This is a real treat for all festive occasions. We all absolutely adore this one!

Arbois La Pieuse 2006

The Arbois grape can make the most thrilling wines. It is now, sadly, virtually extinct. The 2006 harvest was absolutely stunning! It is smooth, fruity, soft and long on the palate. Sauvignon Vieilles Vignes 2006

Made from 60 year old vines, this exquisite dry, fresh-and-fruity, versatile wine can be consumed as an aperitif, throughout the meal, or afterwards. Full of character this wine goes down a treat with fish, poultry and goats cheese. Drink now or keep it for later on. It will age very well. (Alcohol 14%)

Rosé d'Aunis 2004

Pineau d'Aunis is probably the oldest grape variety known in the region. It grows pink on the vines. It is a salmony-pink colour in the glass. It is very soft with a slightly peppery-strawberry flavour. It accompanies most summer dishes especially cold cuts and barbecues. It is best consumed when it is hot and sunny outside. Serve chilled or at room temperature. (Alcohol 12%)

Gamay 2005

The Gamay grape is the lightest in flavour of all our single grape varieties. 2005 was an outstanding year for our red wines. Accompanies white meat dishes such as pork, very easy with pasta and the occasional pizza. Great for an evening in. Room temperature or slightly chilled. (Alcohol 14%)
