This exquisite blend of 3 red varietals, gamay, cabernet & côt, 2004 has become a really outstanding wine. Jean-Marc made this wine in the old fashioned way as opposed to the Tradition 2005 which he made in the more modern way. This means that he macerated the grapes for one month with their skins! The tannins are now elegantly structured and will get softer. There are bags of black summer fruit that come from behind and support the wine all around the palate. Blackcurrants and plums fill the mouth and demand a good roast beef Sunday lunch or Christmas dinner.
It will keep for at least 5 years, but better to consume now if you prefer.
Open several hours in advance and serve at room temperature!
