The summer was hot. The autumn was long, and the wines were stunning!
Full and very round
This particular wine is gorgeous. It has just 7 grams of residual fructose, which means it is softer on the palate that you would be expecting. It is not medium-dry, however, so those of you who like a full medium dry, that’s the next one on the list…
The nose is quince and honey, with some apricots just for fun!
The mouth is full bodied, added with a tinge of acidity just to stop the fullness going over to medium-dry.
It is very smooth and long.
Pair with goats cheese, Wensleydale, possibly spicy dishes (but not hot!). Fish dishes with a creamy sauce.
